I Have A Code I Can’t Use

So someone has to use it!

It’s a code for an Xbox LIVE Halo 4 Avatar Tee for females only that I got from picking up one of the Halo 4 controllers.

The only rule; first one to it gets it.

NOW RUN! HURRY AND GRAB IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!

Because I Haven’t Yet

Halo 4’s campaign was amazing. The visuals, gameplay, story, acting, everything. Everything was phenomenal.

My only big question; when’s the release for Halo 5?

Almost forgot that I received this in the mail today. This just furthers my love for AC.

I did realize something though; this just makes it harder for me to blend in as an assassin. Not only do I have this, but I also have the belt, belt buckle, necklace, Desmond’s hoodie and his shirt. If all goes according to plan I will also have my tattoo.

How am I going to blend in like this?

Just Like Another Bottle Of Booze

One more game in my library was downed and out. This time it was brought to me by the “luxurious” Max Payne 3.

The game was good, but not ‘that’ good.

Story, s’ok.

Visuals, fantastic.

Characters, great.

Gameplay, you can’t beat bullet time, especially when it plays EXACTLY like it’s predecessor.

While a lot of people are praising it to be a perfect game, there were flaws just like any “perfect” person; problems hidden in plain sight.

Overall I give this portion of Max’s story a solid 8/10.

Like a bottle of whiskey, this game packed a punch from start to finish with a bad after taste between hits.

Well, I Finally

Beat Lollipop Chainsaw.

It was…ok. The story wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either.

The score they chose for the entire thing was great.

The characters were memorable in their own way, but I honestly wouldn’t want to remember all of them. The only characters I liked were Nick and Juliet’s dad. They were both funny and had the right/wrong things to say at the right/wrong times.

The gameplay got boring after a while. I actually had to force myself through the levels each time, which is why it took me so long to finish it in the first place.

Just like how everyone else has said the best thing about the game were the boss fights. Each one was unique, fun, and interesting in its own way. Something cool about each one was that each boss stood for a different genre of music such as punk, rock, and metal.

Overall it was an okay game. If I had to I would give it a 7/10.

Like a zombie, this game has its limitations on “fun”.

Starting Inversion Now

Lets hope that a game that got announced back at the end of 2009 can still end up as great as it looked over 2 years ago.

30 Day Video Game Challenge: Day 4

Your Guilty Pleasure Game

Fallout 3. Without any doubt in my mind it is Fallout 3. I’ve been a huge nut for the game since it’s release on October 28, 2008.

I originally bought it on Xbox 360 and as each piece of DLC released I would purchase them on that same day. I even did as much as to get all the achievements on it. Was that enough? No. Some time later after I got my PS3 I ended up buying the collectors edition and did the same thing for it. Except for the trophies, I’m still working on that. I EVEN bought the PC version so I could play it on a much better machine and even mess with mods. WHICH might I add is even more fun. It is, by far, my guilty pleasure game.

Between all three copies of the game I must have at least five hundred hours of gameplay. It is honestly one of my top games of all time and I pick it up at any time, play, and not stop.

So I Was Thinking…

Remember how I stated that I should start writing video game reviews? Well, I think I will write my first one in the next couple of days. Tomorrow night perhaps. Keep an eye out for it. Just a heads up it may revolve around a prince from a land far off from the east.

So I’ve Been Thinking…

Of starting a ‘video game review blog’ or make it apart of this blog. I honestly feel like I could do it, but I believe my biggest thought is that not enough people would be interested in reading it or pay much attention to it. So of course I want some feedback first.

Any of my followers interested? Anyone else? I feel like I should, especially with as many games as I play.

I SWEAR

The driving AI’s in L.A. Noire are by far the DUMBEST I have ever seen in a video game.

I put on my siren going down the road and none of them stop. I go to drive by people in the right lane and they think merging into me is smart. When I’m stopped at a red light people decide to honk at me for no apparent reason.

For being called ‘artificial intelligence’, it’s not really intelligent.

It’s Incredible

I’ve played and beaten Rayman Origins on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita. Now, just because I enjoy the game so much, I’m playing it on the PlayStation 3. This is, with all honestly, one of the BEST platform games I have played in a long time. I’d say it’s up there with Super Mario Bros. 3 and Jak and Daxter.

So I beat Mass Effect 3

All I can say is that bit at the end with the Normandy doesn’t make sense at all. AT ALL. I also wish they would have explained more about the fleets stuck in the Local Cluster and show how everything is going elsewhere.

I’m going to go through it again to see the other “secret ending”. I saw a video earlier on YouTube of this guy trying to give reason to the ending, that Shepard was possibly indoctrinated at the very end. It actually makes good sense, but if Bioware doesn’t give this game closure in someway either with DLC or by patching a new ending or something…oof, I will be upset.

In case anyone is interested, here is said video.

So I played the Mass Effect 3 demo again

and I was enjoying every moment of it until I got to the end with the Atlas mech and for some reason I kept dying I couldn’t understand why. At first I thought I was doing something COMPLETELY stupid. Finally, I decided to look at the difficulty settings. Supposedly, since I played the demo on Insanity the last time I booted it up and went the entire way through it, the demo kept it on Insanity even after closing it and opening it back up a week later. If that was Insanity and I didn’t even realize it, this will be fun after my first initial playthrough.
